Teaching Practicum

Academic Achievements: My performance during my studies is shown through my CGPA which is 3.8 and my high school grade percentage which was 91%.
Rationale
I believe that working hard during one's studies will be advantageous for an individual's future. As students, we should gather all the knowledge we can from our learning experiences in order to become better members of society and workers of a community in the future.

Semester 1: AlNoor Kindergarten - KG-2

Semester 3: Al-Andalus Primary School for Girls - Grade 4
Semester 2: New World Private School - Grade 3

Semester 4: Sharjah English School - Grade 5

Semester 5: Sharjah Model School for Girls - Grade 2

Semester 6: Sama American Private School - Grade 1
Rationale
The following certificates have been given to me as a token of gratitude for my participation in my teaching practicums as a student teacher. Putting theory into practice is a very valuable experience that taught me what I know about pedagogy.
Certificates of Participation

Future Learn Psychology Course:
This is a certificate I got from an online 6-week course on psychology.
Certificate of Appreciation for Becoming a Peer Tutor at HCT
I attended a training session in order to become a peer tutor. I was able to put my teaching skills into practice with my fellow peers.
Rationale
Attending workshops and courses helps in teaching us about different topics, that may or may not be related to our field of study. In the end, anything new that is learned is beneficial to broaden our understanding about different topics.
Job Readiness: Employability Workshops

CV Writing Workshop:
In order to ensure that my CV/resume is of good quality, I attended a workshop provided by HCT's career service center, and learned about the components of a CV.

Semester 7: Al Andalus Primary School - Grade 2
Semester 8: Al Andalus Primary School - Grade 4

Personal Branding
Throughout this workshop, I learned how to create a pitch for myself as a sort of advertisement of my skills for the process of attaining a job.

Interview skills:
Getting a job requires having the right skills, particularly for the interview process. In this workshop, I learned about what one should say during an interview, and how to prepare for it.
Job Search:
Finding a job and knowing where to look is a skill in itself. This workshop helped me attain the skills to search for a job on different platforms, and where to advertise my work and skills.
Rationale
The process of graduating involves gaining the appropriate skills and attitudes for job acquisition. Attending these workshops and going through different videos and materials aided me in understanding the process better. Moreover, it is encouraged for potential graduates to begin cultivating their job-search skills and employability readiness as early as possible (Caballero, Walker, and Fuller-Tyszkiewicz, 2010).

A Logo about Volunteering
Rationale
As part of online volunteering, the higher colleges of technology provided it's students with the opportunity to volunteer by creating their own designs. As an education teacher, there are many times I have to design activities for children, so I was able to use my designing skills to create designs about volunteering.
Children's Story Contest

Children's Short Story Contest:
I wrote a short story for the "Hekayat" contest containing elements about the importance of believing in oneself, as well as the duty to serve one's country.
Rationale
Writing this story was a challenge that I put for myself in order to try something new, and learn about the essence of story writing for children.
